Kenneth Lee Augustine, 66, Ellis, died Friday, December 3, 2021 at Hays Medical Center. He was born on July 11, 1955 to William and Rose (Lang) Augustine. He graduated from Bennett High School in Bennett, Colorado. He attended Kansas State University and earned a degree in accounting.
He has worked for numerous companies in Manhattan, KS, St. Louis, MO, and Trenton, NJ. He returned to Ellis in 2006. He was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis and Knights of Columbus in Ellis.
He is survived by three sons; Scott (Diana) Augustine – Newport News, Virginia; Brett (fiancÃ©e Amber) Augustine – Ocala, FL, and Craig (Amanda) Augustine – Inverness, FL; one daughter Ashely Augustine – Floral City, FL; a special friend, Carol Werth, Schoenchen, KS; two sisters; Cheryl (Augustine) Noles and her husband Richard, Aurora, CO; Roberta Augustine, Ellis; three brothers; Ray (Shirleen) Augustine, Baldwin City, KS; Mike Augustine, Wellsville, KS; David (Amy) Augustine, Odessa, Texas; three grandchildren, Logan, Leila and Launa Augustine; several nieces and nephews and great-nieces and nephews.
He is predeceased by his parents and a little sister.
Services will be held Saturday, December 11, 2021 at 10 am at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis, Kansas; burial will take place in the cemetery of the Catholic Church on Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
Visitations will be held Friday from 5:30 to 8:30 p.m. at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Ellis.
A parish vigil and a rosary service will take place at 7 p.m. on Friday at the church.
