This is officially the critical moment for Liverpool.
Saturday’s FA Cup final offers the Reds a chance to claim their second domestic title this year, while the Premier League and UEFA Champions League are also on the line over the next two weeks.
The game is a rematch of the thrilling EFL Cup final in which Liverpool beat Chelsea in February. The teams couldn’t be separated in regulation or overtime, and the Reds were perfect from the spot in a nervous 11-10 shootout.
As well as minding their own business on Saturday, Liverpool will be encouraging West Ham United to upset, or at least take points from Manchester City. Last weekend’s 1-1 draw with Tottenham came at a heavy cost, and Liverpool will need the help of an upcoming Manchester City opponent at this stage.
In Italy, Milan are close to completing the Scudetto but have rivals Inter Milan hot on their heels. The Rossoneri take on ever-credible threat Atalanta on Sunday and have no room for error with Inter in a more favorable game with drop zone dweller Cagliari.
